Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the quotation, engineering design, material procurement, on-site installation, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) provided by Acumen Aircool to developers, general contractors, or building owners.

1. Quotation Validity

All load assessment quotations, detailed proposals, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) documents delivered by our estimating engineers are valid for exactly 30 calendar days from the date of issuance. Material cost fluctuations in copper piping, cable tray sheet metals, and chiller units after 30 days may require a revised proposal valuation.

2. Payment Milestones

Unless customized contract terms are explicitly signed, MEP contracting works proceed on standard milestone payments: a 30% advance deposit on contract signing for material mobilization, 40% released progressively upon mechanical layout rough-in completions, 20% on testing and balancing commission milestones, and the remaining 10% retention due upon local municipality and Civil Defense approvals.

3. Site Access & Clearances

The client is responsible for securing all building permit clearances, structural drawings, and enabling full site access to our installation technicians. Delays in site mobilization due to unresolved utility clearances or general contractor disputes are not the liability of Acumen Aircool.

4. Contractor Liability

Acumen Aircool secures comprehensive Contractor's All Risk insurance to cover on-site accidents or material damage. Our installation works carry a standard 12-month craftsmanship warranty from handover. We are not liable for system failures caused by third-party maintenance alterations or equipment operations exceeding designated design capacities.
